Ploy Kaew Seafood Branch 2, a restaurant by the sea in Ang Sila with good atmosphere, clean, airy and comfortable. Suitable for sitting, dining and enjoying the breeze and the view in the evening with the family on the weekend. The staff are also polite and smiling.
As for the taste of the food, it was pretty average, not bad. We ordered 4 dishes:
- Seafood Tom Yum, the taste was a bit too sour, but okay.
- Deep-fried mackerel with fish sauce, I really like this dish. The fish was fried quite well. It was probably fried over high heat, which made the outside skin crispy and the inside meat moist. It goes well with the spicy mango salad.
-
- Poached cockles, medium size, not too big but fresh and sweet.
- Steamed crabs ready to be peeled. On the day I went, the crab meat wasn't pretty sweet, but I liked that they had a peeling service, it was convenient.
The thing I dislike the most is
the seafood dipping sauce. It tastes strangely sour and also has a thick white color like adding evaporated milk. Personally, I think It's not the taste of dipping sauce that should be. When the dipping sauce isn't good, it makes the crab meat and boiled cockles taste obviously inferior.
Ploy Kaew Seafood Branch 2 doesn't have its own parking area so you can park on both sides of the road in front of the restaurant.
